We are a husband and wife wedding photography team based in the picturesque village of Moretonhampstead in the heart of rural Devon, just a 30 minute drive from the regional capital of Exeter. We live in a cottage in the countryside with our cat, Bergamot… he’s a bit of an Instagram celebrity!
We are positive, creative people who count ourselves lucky to be doing a job where we get to take pictures of people enjoying one of the happiest days of their lives in such a beautiful part of the world.
It’s important to us that you feel comfortable having us along for the ride on your big day, so we’d love to get to know each other. We’re often out and about, so please write to us and we’ll get back to you ASAP to schedule a suitable time for a phone conversation, or better yet an informal and friendly face-to-face meeting.
We look forward to chatting with you about your wedding!
Harry & Tanya
Despite being raised by a father who is a photographer himself, music was my first love. It was only in my early twenties that I finally followed in his footsteps, initially working in a studio with bands and performers before branching out into event and conference photography.
During 2012 and 2013 I lived abroad in Washington DC and then Dublin, Ireland. Whilst there I worked as an assistant and second shooter to highly the acclaimed American wedding and fashion photographer Amanda Crean, who inspired me to continue shooting weddings after she returned to the USA. I love how each and every wedding day is unique and has its own special story just waiting to be told.
I was born in London but spent much of my childhood in rural Devon, so I also have a particular fondness for the stark beauty of Dartmoor National Park and the North Devon coastline.
Having fallen in love with the way everything looks through the camera when I was a teenager, I went on to formally study film photography in Grand Valley State University, USA in 2002. I then took that love further into the world of digital images, and alongside my wedding photography I am also shoot contemporary fashion portraiture.
I portray my subjects in all the subtlety and vulnerable beauty that comes with being human, and find inspiration in life itself and the people I meet and work with. I have travelled far and wide and have enjoyed living in gorgeous multicultural cities, including Washington DC, Dublin and London.
Outside of wedding photography I run a successful hand made cosmetics business and am also available for creative portraiture projects and other photographic adventures.
